Birds of the World

Scholarship Program

Birds of the World Digital Access Scholarships

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is on a mission to make sure that everyone has a chance to pursue their research for birds, whether or not they can afford the resource.

Thanks to the generosity of Cornell Lab donors, Birds of the World Digital Access Scholarships is able to provide complimentary access through our scholarship program.

If you fit into any of these categories, please reach out to us.

  • Licensed, nonprofit wildlife rehabilitators and educators
  • Unable to afford the cost of a subscription, particularly if in a country with a poor exchange rate or unstable government and in areas of high biodiversity.

You may also be eligible for free access through our content partnership program. If your country appears on that page you are  eligible for complimentary access. Just sign in to Birds of the World with your Cornell Lab/eBird username or create one today.
