Priorities for Future Research
Introduction
Recent information on the status of populations within Haiti are lacking and further population declines from habitat and nesting site loss should be assessed. Full population assessments across Hispaniola are needed to determine both the overall population status and trend. Additionally, many aspects for the life history of this species have not been studied or documented and any such research would greatly increase our knowledge of this species.
