On four different days between 10 and 25 May 2013, I observed a group of four, presumably always the same individuals, of White-billed Buffalo-weaver (Bubalornis albirostris) near Tami, Sabana, northern Togo. There are apparently no previous records of this species in Togo. The locality (10º51’N 0º03’E) is in the extreme north-east of the country, near its borders with Ghana and Burkina Faso, and habitats in the region comprise a mosaic of fields, ponds, wooded savannas and small woods. The birds were often seen at close range, while feeding on fallow land, and their identification posed no problems. Within the group I could identify two adult males and an immature.
