TYPE LOCALITY:
AMNH 476699, Andes de Cumana, Northern Venezuela, adult, sex unknown, red morph, March 1897, ex Museo Delmas, wing 167 mm. Distribution and habitat. Northern Venezuela in coastal Andes mountains from Puerto Cabello to Peninsula Paria; also to be expected in the Sierra de Perija of northern Colombia.
