ABOUT

Logo GECIGrupo de Ecología y Conservación de Islas (GECI) is a non-profit organization from Mexico founded in 1998, which aims for the integral restoration, conservation, and sustainable development of Mexican islands through a multidisciplinary approach and science-based management. This involves implementing ecological restoration actions, environmental education and outreach, and the creation and application of public policies.

Our vision is to consolidate efforts for the conservation, restoration, and sustainable development of islands, with coordinated actions among the involved stakeholders.
